OHgo Golf for a Cause Scramble Generates Strong Community Support and $10,000 Donation

HURON, Ohio – OHgo's annual Golf for a Cause Scramble brought together local businesses, community leaders, golfers, volunteers, and supporters for a day of camaraderie, networking, and philanthropy at Sawmill Creek, culminating in a significant $10,000 contribution from the Erie County Home Builders Association (ECHB).


Through the collective efforts of ECHB, its members, event sponsors, and participants, organizers reached their fundraising goal, demonstrating the incredible generosity and community spirit that continue to drive support for OHgo's mission.


Founded in October 2015 by former kindergarten teacher Christine Boesch and former professional photographer Kendra Faulkner, OHgo was built on a simple but powerful belief: communities are strongest when neighbors take care of one another. What began as a grassroots effort to support families in need has grown into a network of programs serving thousands of residents throughout Erie County.


"The support we received from golfers, sponsors, volunteers, and community partners was truly remarkable," said an OHgo representative. "We are incredibly grateful to the Erie County Home Builders Association and everyone who contributed to making this event such a success. This generosity allows us to continue helping families and individuals throughout our community. For every $1 raised 4 meals will be provided to local community members"


The Erie County Home Builders Association expressed its enthusiasm in presenting the $10,000 donation to OHgo, noting that the fundraising goal was achieved through the dedicated efforts of association members and supporters who rallied behind the cause.
